It’s not the first time that Beirut, Lebanon, and the Lebanese bodies are reduced to ashes, and as we always say “Phoenix will rise again”, which might, but it’s time to put an end to the fall of the Phoenix. It’s time to wake up and stop gambling. I think enough is enough and we refuse to sacrifice innocent souls, enough is enough and we refuse to rebuild rather renovate. For more than 50 years now we’re rebuilding costs of corruption, which is why we cannot develop.

Human greed has no end, feeding the greed makes it hungrier. I can’t name any person in the parliament nor in the cabinet who is capable of taking the responsibility of the reality of what the past mistakes and current challenges are imposing on us.

Which faced failure wasn’t unexpected? Which disappointment wasn’t inevitable?

My fellow sisters and brothers who do you think you are and what do you think your leaders are made of?

In Lebanon, people holding decision-making positions in public sector or becoming “politicians” are either heirs to corruptly earned money and are willing to give back small portions of it to parties who need their corrupt money, or have the see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil stupidity. The Lebanese political party is nothing close to the elite of the society, rather than the most immoral portion of it.

To accept this group of incompetent people to represent us is an insult, and I call for a revolution, a revolution of “Silence is compliance” a revolution of “If you had burdens to implement your plans, either resign or hold a press conference and make a scandal out of those who are hindering your ethical agenda” a revolutionary of “If you think the cabinets preceding you left you with so many issues, and despite your childhood dreams of being a Superman, you are not efficient, and it’s fine to resign” a revolution of “Stop dragging us to your webs and building armies of hungry and ignorant soldiers to shout your name and hold your posters”.

The August 4 explosion led to the death of more than 130 people (still counting) causing around multi-million dollar worth of damages t people who can barely afford food, and even though the cause of the explosion isn’t known yet, but the explosives being where they were is nothing but neglect.

I call for a revolution that extinct any party who was active in decision making in matters that effect public lives in the last 30 years till august 4, 2020, I call for a revolution to extinct all those who made migrating Lebanon the more attractive and promising option.

Yes we are hurt, heartbroken and disappointed, but no, we will not leave! You will!
