A message from Lebanon

Leya Dagher

Have mercy on me please

I just want peace

My citizens are fleeing

And you are still chilling

My citizens are starving

And you are still stealing

Have mercy on me please

Ignorance at its peak

Mr. President hear their scream

My people are wise

They arise

They scream please do something

They are crying:

"I lost my faculty

I lost my family

I lost my country

I lost plenty

I have nothing else to lose clearly!"

Isn't this economic crisis enough to make them hungry?

Making use of corona and sucking their money

Mr. President just pause and see

Illegal crossings at the cost of their blood and sweat for free

Mr. President illegal weapons have no role

With the presence of the Lebanese army that is the whole

Wake up and seek

Rise up and speak

You are in your comfort zone

While a citizen doesn’t have a home

Oh, have mercy on me please

My citizens scream

$1 worth 7,000 LBP what unease

My citizens are dying

And you are daydreaming

Enough with the lying

If you are unable to reform

Get off the chairs and give a chance to the formed

My people want a country

My people wants dignity

Enough with the corruption

You need to function

Have mercy on me please

Leave

I can't breathe
